Hello and welcome to Red Kite Community Nursery. On this website you will find a wide range of information. Not just about our nursery but also about our local community, preschool education in Scotland, training resources and it is also a place to make friends and have fun! We are also founding members of the Stirling Early Years Network which aims to support all voluntary managed Early Years Settings in Stirling. Red Kite Community Nursery aims to provide the best service it can for its children, staff and parents. It is a service owned and run by the parents and carers of the children who attend so you can be sure that we always have the best interests of our children at heart, because they are our own! |

Our nursery is in partnership with Stirling Council which means that we can offer to all children, free fully Government funded places the term after your child's third birthday. Being in partnership means that we offer the same standard of service that you would expect from a Council run nursery. Our practitioners are all fully qualified and most importantly motivated and enthusiastic about their roles. We are passionate about the health and wellbeing of our children and provide a session of physical activity every day and this maybe using some of our fantastic gym equipment in the hall or going for walks around our community. |
|
In addition to our preschool sessions we also run a Rising 3's session on a Monday from 1pm - 2:30pm (demand permitting). For children aged 2.5 - 3 years. Our latest service is called 'Bosom Buddies' and this is an informal group which meets on Wednesday's from 10:30-12pm. It is a place where new mums and mums to be can relax, have a chat and make friends over a hot drink! Supported by our local Health Visitor Penny Scott and with access to resources and a helpine through the Association of Breastfeeding mothers. |
